Whose friend knows me best.. by Lacey Mosley

Shy, silent type, emo or rocker, cute, that's how people discribe me, sometimes they would even say "you're kind,generous, humble". But behind saying those things, my question is that "do they know me?". I was staring outside the window when I asked myself, am I really me? am I showing the real me? or am I just pretending to be somebody whom I am not . Millions of stars watchin' me cry but nobody's listening to me as I shout. Everything's hidden inside me. Only the starS, trees, pens, papers, books and music instruments knows my hidden emotions. Why can't i bring them out? There are times I am wondering, "how could these things be happening?". Why do I have a lot of friends inspite of not saying everything inside this heart of mine. Who will I blame of being someone I must not be. Am I really showing the real me? These papers and pens around me help me much, these instruments help me bring out the best inside me. I always write, I shout and scream using them. There are times while i'm in a room of white walls with nothing to hear but the tick-tock of the cllock, a question passed my mind "what is pretension?" Am I pretending or am I showing the real me?.

Friends help me much. They have been my relatives for so long. They are my shoulder to lean on. To listen and to watch is are the common jobs of friends. I do have two kinds of friends, my old closest friend and my best friend. I love them both so much, but I am wonderin' who among them both knows me best. My old closest friend. Actually I never called her my best friend because she never wanted to be called so. We've been friends for 4 years and for those years, we've had millions of memories together. We've laugh together and cried beside each other. I can't compare our friendship to anything. We always make time together. With her I cried, her shoulders became my strenght and her voice, advices and messages inspired me. She changed my pessimistic thinking to optimistic mind. We've been in a lot of battle. And it's a miracle we're still together inspite of all the misunderstandings that we had. We've been together for so long and our weakness is our strenght. But i'm still shy to tell her some things. I don't know how we became very much contented having each other and confident together. We always say "Live your life inside a dream".


Rock music, that's what tied me and my best friend. I love rock music because it helps me express my deepest emotions and so he is. In him, I can tell anything but I can't do everything. whatever kind of word I wanted to say can be bring out when I am with him, but I cannot cry when I am with him. I just don't know why. But, he knows a lot of things about me. My Best friend helps me ease my pain and he makes me laugh. There comes a time that I am very much desperate to hear his voice and when that time comes, I just listen to the songs we used to sing, I just can't take him out of my mind. we became best friends because I helped him more than he helped me. When I am with him my whispers turns to shouting and my shouting turns to tears, then after sometime my tears turns to laughter and it will all take away my fears. He tells me his secrets 'cause I want it and i'll listen intensively. That's how we spent our time together. We're living together by saying "Our music will bind us and our friendship will keep us forever.


Millions of memories are treasured inside my heart. My memories with my friends will always live in me. Remembering our unbridled outburst of emotions, deafening me. It paralyzes me knowing I can't choose who's the best. They both know me much, but who's friend knows me best? I love them both and I am very much craving to hear their voice. They gave me a prommise to love and treasure me forever. So I will always keep them. But still my question is not answered, who's friend knows me best? My old closest friend who dreams with me or my best friend who cries and laughhs with me. They both list5en to me and I never wanted to run away from them. I'm feeling so inspired having them. Even if i'm selfish fake, they're still a true friend. I can always come to them. Will I go to my old closest friend who lives life with her perfect words and dreams or will I go to my best friend who lives life the way he wanted it to be, as freely as he can. I can't choose, all that I can think is that I won't say farewell to them. I'll live my life with them, dream my greatest dreams together with them and play my kind of music forever with them.

"I'm a silent type of person but there are times that i'm very much talkative. I always go to what is majority, I mean I usually go to where my friends go. I usually present myself with eyeliner and my bangs covering my eyes. I love listening to my kind of music, reading novels, watching movies and writing poems. I love music so much, the reason why I can now write my poem. Screamo is the type of music I do listen. Because through this type of music I can shout and scream. For some it was considered noise but for me it's a type of melody that helps me bring out my deepest emotions. It may not have a good background sound for some but if they try to understand the lyrics, the message of the song, they would certainly love it. Reading novels is one of my best past times, because reading helps me improve to whatever knowledge I have now. After reading sometime, i'll write my own poem. Writing is one of the best practices I perform to improve my knowledge. Actually I have my notepad of poems and essays to review how deep and wide my intelligence is. I also love watching it's one of the best past times. Because i'm enjoying at the same time i'm learning. I don't like too much girly stuffs. I hate using shoulder bags. What I like is using backpack and body bag. I sometimes use doll shoes but most of the time I use rubber shoes (chuck taylor). I hate wearing skirt I just use pants. I'm using girly blouses but I use t-shirts more. That's me, a simple person who loves to live my life on how I want it to be." -- Lacey Mosley

Do Friendship really Last? by Ms. Green

"Friendship is a building block of trust". Trust is a product from the bonding and sharing experiences with your friends or companion. Nowadays, we have many secrets that we can't tell or share to our family even in our relatives. Some of us say that everyone in this world is needing someone which can we lean on and to be affectionate to share ideas.

Friends are the genuine persons who there for us when we need a companion to talk to especially when we have a problem. They are also the persons that we can clasp and to be cried with without any shame. Between two or more persons friendship may build. But why many of us fall in love after friendship? That's the big question which constantly bothering my mind and my whole self. I believe that when friends fall in love its magic but when friends refuse to fall for each other its better than magic its called respect because they want to keep each other forever.

Secluded distance is a great hindrance to a friendship because there are times that we are downhearted and needing someone to talk to but our friends can't be there to our sides in a reason that they are far away from you or they have more important things to do than to be your friend.

This weekend, one of my friends had divulged his secret to me. It is that he has already developed to me and now crushes on me. I'm so shocked and I don't know what I am going to react. In addition, as far as I know him, he is hermaphrodite. That time the only thing that is in my mind is that he is only coaxing or teasing me. But after that he treats me a special girl with no doubt and with gallant to whatever I like to do. I decided to text my high school best friend for me to share my problem to him to deaden the loads in my shoulder. The day came that we are going to glance the face of each other again and to ratify our friendship in terms of sharing bonding. That is a rainy day and the rain is non stop. The bad day is obsolete between us to meet each other again. He decided to cancel our meeting because he is so concern to my health if we take the risk to go under a storm day.

Friendship really last if we can learn how to dainty manage it. In all of the friendship that we build hindrances are the things that test our trust to our friends. I learned how to cherish the memories that we made and the happy time that we shared together.

A bestfriend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you, someone who can see the truth and pain in you even when you are fooling everyone else. Bessie friend, are the one's who wipe the tears and hold your hand while everyone else just stands around asking what happened? Bessie friend, are hard to find harder to leave and impossible to forget. They can tell you things you don't want to tell to yourself, the one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.


They are like stars, you don't always see them but you know they're always there. Life's journey is easier when you hear a friends footsteps beside you.Bessie friend, is the kind of person who you can walk up to with the biggest smile on your face and they still ask "what's wrong?" They are the person who sees the pain in your eyes when the rest of the world believes the smile on your face. They are my true friends when two friends can walk in opposite directions and yet remain side by side.


Reasons why we need bessie friends. One, you can't ride a seesaw by yourself. Two,you need a screaming buddy while watching scary movies. Three, playing patintero or tumbang preso not as much fun with your dog. Four, you need someone to gush and discuss what your crush meant when he said "hi" and waved. Five, how else will you use up your stationery and sticker collection if not to write long letters to friends? Six, you get to drag someone when you're too shy to do something on your own. Seven, you've got a sure partner for all school projects and events. Ironically true right? funny isn't it? Sometimes i wonder what my life would be like without them, then i thank god i only have to wonder.


My bessie friends, they understand when i say forget it. They wait forever when i say just a minute. Stand by my side when i say leave me alone. They just listen for how many hours when i'm crying on the phone. Yeah, we laugh too hard, act too immature but i wouldn't have it any other way. It's those times we go so crazy, people think were high. The times we make each other laugh until we cry. All those inside jokes and annoying activities that we shared, those are all reasons were call us BESSIE FRIENDS.


Being a good bessie friend, is not always about stopping each other from making mistakes but its always about being there after the mistakes. Bessie friend know how stupid you are and still choose to be seen with you in public. Friendship is what gets you through the bad times and help you enjoy the good times.


I love my crazy, idiotic, annoying, funny, amazing, clothes stealing, secret keeping, honest, loyal and retarded bessie friends. We will be friends as long as stars twinkle in the sky as long as angels are there up high 'till oceans run dry 'till the day i die..

Before and Now by Cora

When I was young, I did not have to worry about many things. All I did was to play and play. I did not know yet the meaning of hardship. I was then a little child who was not aware of the true meaning of life. There were times that I was mad, sad, and cried, but it was just for a moment and turned into joy. My happiness would be satisfied in a very simple way, which I shared to my playmates and friends. They were the special people who were important to me including my family.

I remembered the first time I entered in the school. There were many people around the classroom, and those people were the parents of those studentr, and those students were my classmates. I was then a grade one student. My mother bought le a new bag, pair of shoes, notebooks with different pictures of cartooon characters, pencils, `nd all the things th`t I needed in school. Honestly, when I was in grade school, I really love to rmell my newly bought school supplies. It made me happy every time I had seen those things of mine.

I did not already remember some of the names of my classmates in first grade, even though the name of my crush. Yes! I had my first crush when I was in grade one. But there is only one person that I would never ever forget. He is my neighbor until now and his parents and my family have good friendship. He was my childhood friend, but he always made me cry. Every time I see him now, I always remember our friendship and quarrels, and it makes me smile.

Before I graduated in elementary level, my adviser in sixth grade left us a simple but meaningful message for us to be aware of what would might be happened in our life when we would be graduated in grade school. She said that, when we reach such end, we would face the new beginning of life's journey. I realized that, when I entered on the next level of my educational journey in highschool, the beginning was started again, like when I was in grade one. It was very different on my previous life. I met new classmates and they became my friends. At first, it was very hard to adjust. The environment was not really the same just like before. Some of my teachers were not as patience as my elementary teachers were. Some subjects had changed too. It became more difficult than in my usual subjects in elementary, but I able to overcome those kind of circumstances.

What kind of person is me right now is the foundation of what I had experienced and contributed to myself. I never said that the outcome of my past is all positive. The journey of mine is not yet done. There are many trials, failure, and victories that is waiting for me. I have to push myself in hardwork, determination and eagerness to do my responsibilities and task. So that, I would be able to face all the trials that will come into my life and make me more competetive and stronger person.

Everybody needs friends. But when you are young, friends can have more influence over how your dress, act, and think your parents do. I've been going to school for 12 years, but in all that time I've never managed to make one single friend although I'm a kind and friendly person. But just what are real firends? And what is the secret of having them? According to a proverb: "A true friend is loving at all times and becomes a brother in times of trouble. For my own opinion, taking an interest of others is the key to starting up friendships. A person who thinks straight and talks straight is thus the kind of person I should want as a friend.

Sometimes a so-called friend will see you get into trouble and then say, "I saw you leading up to that, but I was afraid to tell you", but when a real friend sees you going the wrong way, he will try to warn you before its too late. IN finding friends, get to know some people who are older than you or the same age with you so that it will help you to get matured-mind and it reflects who you are. Age doesn't matter in finding friends. If you had a friend pay attention to how you listen, it applies well in developing relationships. Being a good listener is vital in building a friendship.

Be loyal, another important aspects of being a good friend. On my side, I would defend my friend when others would say some disrespect remarks but only if were in the right. Share your feelings to your friend. This, of course, does not mean that you should pour out your emotions to everyone that you meet but you can be honest with evryone. And as you get to know and trust someone, you can gradually reveal more of your deepest feelings. In other situation. mis-understanding might occurred. There is a tendency that you would have a trouble with your true friend. But don't let the day pass without being fine. Do not expect perfection. We all make mistakes in all kinds of way that causes problems. We have to be willing to give.

We have our own deelings about things but we are willing to give in to make room for your friend's feelings and opinions. As a friend, I learned a lot of things to my friends that I can apply to my everyday life. So, friends are important because you will find the satisfaction of knowing that you proved your loyalty, love and respect to them and showed yourself to be a true friend.

Throughout our life we get involve into different kind of relationship; other relationships are not forced upon us but we do not have full domination over love. Like if we fall in love with someone, we cannot choose whom we want to fall in love with; even though we have some ideal person we want to fall but love is really incomprehensible and unexpected.

Love plays a major role in our lives. Love serves as a distinct inspiration to every individual. Love exhibits its own purpose and meaning in different ways. There are love in friends, family and another person in our life. Like a mother’s love for her children is countless, that no expensive things can replaced. She will always stand on your side to defend and to protect you.

Another example of one great love is Friendship. Friendship is explained to be as warm mutual attachment by the quality of one’s heart and kindness. Friendship doesn’t by appearance but rather by the inner elegance and beauty. It has a sincere heart and an open mind to love and to respect. Friendship doesn’t measure by a person’s status in life, whether you are poor or rich. You can be friends because of the character you shared. It is true that we can choose friends unlike our families. But what kind of friends we chose is depending on our character. They say that friend brings out the best in us and human cannot live alone without friends. We consider some people to be friends, even though they are not that close but there are some points of situation that they need each other. A friend is not just a close companion. Friendship is about give and take, reaching and seeking help.

Love is not supposed to be always happy, don’t expect love to always make you feel good; but do expect it to make you grow as a mature individual. Don’t be tired to love, you deserve to try and find the one who deserve you’re love. The greatest love that you will find is the given gift from God, so give your heart and trust to God. Because you will achieve the true happiness in God’s will and that’s the true meaning of love: waiting and patience.

If you can’t give people happiness they want, just try to be nice to erase their sorrow; I guess that’s the essence of friendship. You can have many friends but it’s really hard to have true friends who can honestly say what’s wrong with you, even it will hurt you. True friends are also given gift from God to serve as an angel to guide you in the right path. It is more painful to loose a true friend because I know that it is hard to find a true companion. So I value my friends as I value myself.

True love can only be earned if you receive love and you know how to give love back. Friendship put smile in every faces, even life has so many problems to offer; you can make it with the help of sweet and extraordinary friends.

RTU, My Beloved RTU by Crazy Love

"RTU, beloved RTU, we'll be forever true to the gold and blue..."


Rizal Technological University is not just a school to me, not just a campus that you will go in and out. It is a place that is full of memories. Every little changes happened to me, from my looks to my knowledge. RTU witnessed every memories from my high school memories to my college. RTU is a place where I meet diffrent people with diffrent people. It is a place whereigh sc I faced challenges in my life. Most of all RTU is a place where I belong.

Before entering the high school here, first, students need to pass the entrance examination and interviews. I took all of it. I experience how to be the last person to be called during interviews. I took all of it. I experienced how to be the last person to called during interview, I waited all day and everything. Abcourse without complaining because I really want to enter this school. My mom and her siblings graduated high school here, and I don't want to disapoint them if I don't get the chance to study here. Luckily I got the chance to study high school here. During my first high school days, RTU let me experience riding on a jeepney alone and being in a classroom without talking to anyone... because all faces are new, and I don't know anyone. As time pass by, I meet new friends here and you know I treasure them, because they complete my life and they are those people that I shared moments and memories with. RTU thought me the meaning of friendship and why do we need to be belong in a group of people. I think if someone doesn't have any companionship, I think she's missing a part of his life. Not all the time, your family members will be there for you and that's the reason why you have to be with a group of friends to be with you when you need someone's company. RTU let me experience being with friends and RTU gave us a chance to spend good memories together. I'm glad that I'm one of those who finished high school here. Even though I'm not in high school anymore and me and my friends found each other that's why I treassure this place.

When I finished high school, actually I don't reaLLy think of what school I'll be in college, until I realized that it's already enrolment in RTU. My mom asked me back then if what course I'm going to take, I told her that I want to take Psychology, but the fact that I'm a late enrolee I know that there's no more slot left in that course that's why I just took the couse that is available. You know, RTU gave me the chance to study college without any problems, because I'm a high school graduate here I don't need to take exam and interview anymore, I just have to get form and pay to the cashier and that's it I'm erolled already. At first I'm enrolled in the course Bachelor of Science in INformation communication Technology, a five year course in the college of Engineering, even though I already have friends in that course, I don't relly enjoy studying lessons about that course. That's why I decided to shift in my course now. Psychology is the course I really want to take, and when I already have the oppotunity to shift, I grab.

Now I'm on my new path, I thank RTU because this school let me be in the path I want. I thank God to be in this school, because in this school, I don't have any problem, whether it is financial and or whatever. I think RTU is the place where I will graduate college... hopefully. I treasure this school, and I now that this is a place where I belong. I'll be forever true to the gold and blue.

Every time that God gives us one great morning to spend, there is this one thing that always reminds us to live our lives once more and make it much better that it was yesterday. Having so many things to do everyday makes us very exhausted, yet we still manage to go on. When every single task we do seems unworthy of our time, just think that it will help us improve ourselves, or much better, we can think of someone who inspires us as well. Thinking of someone who is really close to our heart makes the exhaustion go away. Just the thought of living our lives for someone else can make our life sail very smoothly and freely.

Funny, sometimes sarcastic, moody and serious, these are the traits of him that made Leo fall in love... all over again. He is Joseph, my former classmate in National Service Training Program. Every time, I and this guy are talking, I always feel that the time is passing so fast. We talk about anything that we want to know from each other or anything that we can share about. He is also the reason why I don't fail to go to school. Aside from my family and friends, this guy also never fails to tell me how important going to school is. My friends too- Budz, Ryan, Ate Karen and to you guys, you know who you are, are very important to me. They are my second family, I must say, they are the ones who untirelessly give their time for me. We are very happy to spend our time together, and I know that we can climb every mountain, sail the wide ocean of this universe and we can also eat all the street foods we want. We always share simple things together, yet it brings extreme happiness to us.

It's not bad to try new things, explore and discover something new about ourselves. Show people what we have got and don't be afraid to hear comments coming from them. Life is too short my friend, use it wisely and productively. Event hough life is complicated, we can still make it easier to live, just think of the people whom you love very much. Always say to yourself that "It's all for you", so that you will be motivated to work hard and pursue things you want to achieve.
